Nestled just outside of Janesville, Wisconsin, The Good Acres Farm is an easy drive with plenty of open space to enjoy.

make the most of your visit to the good acres!

  • Absolutely! There is no better place to be in the fall than in the country. Come celebrate Wisconsin agriculture on our family homestead since 1905.

  • Follow the signs! Parking is along the yard next to the cornfield. (The main driveway is not an entrance.) If we need more parking, there is overflow in the front yard. There are a few reserved spots right behind the house for handicapped parking. Keep in mind the ground is a little uneven and covered in grass and gravel.

  • Yes. Meat will be frozen, and we will have a plastic bag to wrap it in. Maybe consider throwing a cooler or freezer bag in your car.

  • Bring a friend! We have small baskets to help you carry your finds as you wander in the barns and shopping bags when you check-out. We have so many great goodies from eggs and jam to Christmas trees and pumpkins. You might need a tote!

  • Please look for helpers in green The Good Acres t-shirts.

  • Strollers are great for cruising around the farm, but might be a little snug in the barn and will be best left outside.

  • Of course! We will have port johns available, or there is always the corn field!

  • Wisconsin weather is fickle. The four barns provide an indoor shopping experience, but the barns are not heated. Consider bringing an umbrella and your sneakers. Rain or Shine experience!

  • Treat yourself! Enjoy cider, coffee, soda, cinnamon rolls, homemade cookies, charcuterie boxes and other treats… Cash Only.

  • We take credit and debit cards and cash.

  • Yes! Friday and Saturday we hope to have live music with local talent Steve Weber.

  • We love furry farm friends, but please leave your pets, cozy and safe at home, while you shop for organic treats for them.

  • This is our first year, so we have no idea how many people to expect. Consider bringing a folding chair to enjoy the country in case you have to wait a bit.
